Building on his distinguished career as a performer with over 100 film and television roles, Gerald successfully transitioned behind the camera, producing 40+ feature films garnering Webb an Emmy nomination while delivering films to partners including Lionsgate, Netflix, Paramount, Great American Family, Pureflix, Syfy Network, Lifetime Network, and ION Television. As a talent executive for The Asylum, he orchestrated the casting of over 100 films, including Syfy network’s global phenomenon Sharknado 1-3, and Syfy’s hit series Z-Nation.

From 2022 through 2025 Gerald served as Head of Production at Candy Rock Entertainment, known for producing Lionsgate’s Dove Award winning theatrical film UNSUNG HERO and Great American Family’s the Ainsley McGregor Mysteries series of television movies. Gerald led the development, production, and delivery of programming to network and studio partners, delivering 15 films. Gerald also owns Transformation Films where he is developing a slate of films, scripted and unscripted series under the banner.

Creatively, Gerald directed, wrote, and produced $TACK$. The film has garnered top honors at film festivals across the globe, including multiple best director and screenplay honors for Webb. Building on its festival  success, $TACK$ was acquired by Twentieth Century Fox’s FoxSoul for streaming distribution. Lead actor, Mark Christopher Lawrence was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for his portrayal of Hector in $TACK$ (www.StacksMovie.com).

Throughout his career, Gerald has championed diversity and inclusion in front of and behind the camera. In 2011, as Director of Talent at The Asylum, he implemented a bold strategy to broaden representation in casting. Under his leadership, the studio saw a 380% increase in star-name diversity, while overall diversity in casting across all categories more than doubled—a measurable shift that became a model the entire industry soon began to follow.

Gerald is a member in good standing of the Producers Guild of America, the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Screen Actors Guild. The Philadelphia and South Jersey native splits his time between Los Angeles, working in British Columbia, Canada, visiting family in Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia and jumping over to Europe every time he gets the chance.
